Question:

Anything as good as Patanol eye drops for allergy eyes?

I went to the pharmacy today to refill and my co-pay is up to $70 (from $30) for the teeny 10ml bottle.

And I have tried Bausch & Lomb Alaway but it doesn't work near as well.

Thanks!

  1. i agree with the person above

    i like patanol and zatador

  2. just some basic stuff like visine A works well, but I really like the rotho drop.  They have some menthol in them so it cools the itching and burning good stuff!

  3. There is a similar drug called Zaditor.  It is OTC.  It is also an anti-histamine eye drop

  4. You can call your doctor's office and see if there is a generic brand that will work.  Patanol is what my doctor prescribed, but once I realized it was an eye allergy and not pink eye, I no longer had to use it.  I wash my face then use a non-medicated eye drop (Refresh Tears - but need it very little).

They are offering a rebate of $10.  Here is the website:  http://www.pataday.com/patanol/rebate.as...

The druggest can also suggest something, and there are lots of over-the-counter medicines mentioned in my Yahoo! search.  Many I would not consider using without my doctor's OK.
