  1. Usually when I fill out an application I write down: ANY POSITION AVAILABLE. They call me for an interview and let me select  the positions that they have with complete description of each position available. Then let you choose to see whats best for you.

  2. you normally just put "any" when you dont know what you want. And then put your experience so they know what position they want to give you.

  3. Go there, ask to speak with who ever handles employment.  Tell them you are interested in applying but would like to see what postions are open.

Face to face meetings are great.

  4. It is better to know what you want to do. That way they can judge if you are qualified. However if you are looking for entry positions then anything would be ok. Jobs like labor, janitorial.

But I would still recomend doing some research and finding out what jobs they have. It will look better on the app and you can list what makes you a good fit for the job.

  5. Usually it's not good to put "anything" because it means you don't know what you want to do.  Which means you don't really care about anything, and just want to work their for money or something.

Where as somebody who wants a specific job shows more commitment and interest.

However, it IS the YMCA so it doesn't necessarily mean you need a lot of qualifications so they may not be too concerned.

I would say, put the job you most want if you have a preference, or put, "Open for consideration" (anything sounds cheap).

  6. i think it is ok

  7. Just put down that your are willing to try anything or leave it blank
