Sure- you're old enough to go to the clubs (they call them "discos", because "nightclubs" are the places with strippers) and if you want to speak English, you can go to the English pubs in whatever city you're visiting.  See if you can get tickets to a football game too.

the beach there is very nice.  they have fun dance clubs that at 17 you can enter, they have shopping, movies, and great food as well.  you'll enjoy yourself.

plenty to do if your open minded such as clubs, collect wines, beaches(scuba,snorkel, etc), hikes, some race motorcycles on the winding roads of mountain sides.
