Question:

Anything is possible??

Is it possible that we see Timonen (good chance), Coburn (some chance) and GAGNE (little chance) tomorrow?

I know the Flyers say that Gagne is done for the season but they suggested the same for Timonen and I kind of figured that we would see him sooner than later...I think they gave the worst case scenario. Sometimes, there are head games involved too. I am not sure Gagne would be in game shape, but maybe he has been working out without our knowledge.....I have seen these type of dramatic and surprising returns before. I also find it conspicous that they haven't mentioned him lately, except to say he was travelling with the team....I looked for recent news and came across this.....pretty interesting..........his headaches are gone.....NEVER SAY NEVER.

  1. I also heard it's possible we see BOBBY ORR tomorrow. Lmao.

Before anyone says anything, I know how valuable Timonen is...

How could I forget with so much emphasis on it?

Thanks a bunch for the link about Gagne though! I do believe anything is possible. I hope from the bottom of my heart that he can make as close to a full recovery as possible. It'd be sad to see his career decline due to concussions, which, as you know, has happened to NHLers in the past. (h**l, Flyers fans would know more than anybody, seeing what concussions did to Lindros and Primeau.) Perhaps the treatment Gagne's receiving, if it works well, will be the standard for hockey players with concussions.

(In my best "Trix" cereal commercial voice) Silly Pens fans! Goonery is for Flyers! There'll be no head-hunting for Richards. The Pens game is run and gun, which the Flyers can't play. The Flyers succeeded in slowing down the game Thursday, with all the scrums after every whistle. Hopefully that doesn't happen again.

  2. Sorry to burst your bubble but if you think the flyers are going to come back and beat Pittsburgh in 7 your an @sshole.

The penguins will win this series in 5.

  3. I say yes we will see Timonen on Sunday, no to Coburn on Sunday and no to the season on Gagne.  We would have heard something more about Gagne at this point if he were coming back.  There is so much media around the team and there is no way it doesn't leak if he is skating at one of the other Flyer SkateZone rinks in the area.

I am not shocked Timonnen is healed up enough to return.  Someone made a half joking remark about why they couldn't just use some blood thinners on him.

Coburn is starting to worry me a little more.  With all of the talk about the cut and the eye, I kind of overlooked the possibility of a concussion but that's what it sounds like at this point.

Saint: I heard that Richards told Gonchar who told Malkin, who then told Gonchar to tell Staal for him to tell Crosby that Crosby couldn't whoop him in a fight.  Opening face-off I heard there is going to be a rumble.

  4. i'm sure richards can take care of himself.

timo will probably see a return, gagne will not see action tomorrow, and brayden should wear a full face shield if he plays tomorrow.

even if they all return tomorrow i think the pens will still win the series. john stevens has been coaching well.

  5. Coburn only has one eye, Timonen cant skate and Gagne is old and has not played in how long.  If you think thats a recipe for success more power to ya.  LETS GO PENS!

  6. Even though he hadn't been working out, I think I remember Gagne traveling with the team even before the playoffs started. Working out again is definitely a good sign but unless he's been skating on a line in Voorhees, his return seems doubtful...but not impossible.

  7. probably timmonen i dont know about coburn.  I know they're dyin to get out there and will do everything they can to get in the lineup but only time will tell.

  8. I think Timonen is the most likely.  Coburn I believe is still 50-50.  According to Homer they are saying he still doesn't feel right.  And Gagne I don't think we will see him at all.  It would be awesome though.  But who knows, crazier things have happened.

** And Bob you're right about the Richards thing.  I hope they do, it will play right in to the Flyers hands.  That isn't Pittsburgh's game.  I hope they hunt him all game.

  9. Even with Timonen, Coburn and Gagne were to play, I dont see this series going to game 6. The Pens are out for blood after what happened with Crosby in the last 10 seconds of game 4. Richards is going to be hunted. It should be a good game though.

  10. None of it matters since the Flyers are going down tomorrow.

  11. Timmo and Coburn will play...that i am sure of

Gagne i would not even consider.

  12. maybe...but i find it hard to believe the pens would give away 4 in a row.  too much talent and besides, fleury won't let that happen.
