Anything that helps a Cold?

my boyfriend has strep throat. last year I didn't catch it and I was all up in his face! loll I was helping him because he was dog sick. This year around the same time as last, I didn't get any where near his face, touched his food, or drank after him. Not even kisses!! Bummer loll. But, I woke up this morning with a sore throat, it hurts to swallow sometimes, I sneeze constantly, & I have a runny/stuffy nose w/coughing. Anyone have idea's on what medicines REALLY work. I don't have the money to see a doctor right now. No insurance. :(

try soup or things that numb your throut it should say on a box any plentty of tissues and all people are diffrent things that work on one person dosn't work on another

My wife swears by Zicam. The secret though is to start using at the very first sign of a cold. The earlier the better.

It won't 'cure' a cold, but there is some legitimate research that show that it may lessen the severity of the cold and make recovery faster.

You can find it at any pharmacy or well-stocked grocery store.
