Anything to help relieve toothache? ?

I have a dentist appointment on Wednesday, but until then my tooth (one of my molars) is KILLING me and I wondered if anyone knows of any home remedies or OTC drugs that could help it. Would Ibuprofen work?

  3. Clove oil is the BEST thing for a toothache. Go to a healthfood store or maybe whole foods to find it. Anywhere that sells essential oils. Tab a bit on the tooth...it burns for a minute, but you will feel relive in just a few minutes.
