Hockey is a way of life period.

Hockey tidbits:

1- Before the treacherous Chris Chelios, there was no light.  He predates the words "let there be light."

2- The Blackhawks in the good old days, never missed the playoffs.

3- Detriot is evil and foul.  They are a menace and only goodness can stop them.

4- The Dallas Stars are really the Minnesota North Stars.

5- The Colorado Avelanche are REALLY the Quebec Nordiques.

6- Phenoix Coyotes are really the Winnipeg Jets.

7- The Carolina Hurricanes are really the Hartford Whalers.

8- Gary Bettman is the Devil.  

9- Rocky Wirtz will rebuild the NHL and the Blackhawks.  (In this case, the apple flew light years away from the tree.  I mean all games televised, WOW!)

i was rely not that into okey at first but as i went to my first game i started to relize that it is ALOT like soccer (which i play and very well away or the rules) but one problem i see with EVERY team is they bunch up way  to much to get that puck but then when they pass it out none of there players get it its most likley to be the other team but it is not good to bunch up because if you watch pro soccer NONE of those guys bunch up they make long good passes just like you should in hockey  if you think im wrong ANY of you watch a hockey game then go watch a soccer game there basicly aike except for a few differences

also if you have a coach wo dosnt agree tell him that you would like to try this way it might help alot to if your team wins or not

I'll start you off. There are 30 teams that are divided into 2 conferences(the Eastern Conference and the Western Conference) with 15 teams each.

In each conference there are 3 divisions with 5 teams each. In the Eastern Conference there is the Atlantic division(New York Rangers, New York Islanders, Pittsburgh Penguins, Philadelphia Flyers, and New Jersey Devils), the North East division(Buffalo Sabres, Ottawa Senators, Toronto Maple Leafs, Montreal Canadiens, and the Boston Bruins), and the South East division(Florida Panthers, Tampa Bay Lightning, Washington Capitals, Carolina Hurricanes, and the Atlanta Thrashers.

In the Western Conference there is the North West division(Calgary Flames, Vancouver Canucks, Edmonton Oilers, Colorado Avalanche, and the Minnesota Wild), the Pacific division(San Jose Sharks, Los Angeles Kings, Anaheim Ducks, Dallas Stars, and the Phoenix Coyotes), and the Central division(Chicago Blackhawks, St. Louis Blues, Detroit Redwings, Columbus Bluejackets, and the Nashville Predators)
