My 3 month old kitten that we bought was scared of us at first.now she lets me and my girlfriend pet her and she's also very playful. The only problem is that, this our first night having her and she wont let us sleep. She keeps jumping on the bed and wanting our attention.

She wanted me to keep throwing the tennis ball back and forth so she can chase it.when I stopped she started meowing a lot.I took her off the bed numerous times at night but she keeps jumping right back on the bed,on both me and my girlfriend.

Is there anything I can do to stop my kitten from jumping on the bed when Im sleep at night?

  1. I have a 7 week old kitten who does the same exact thing. She even likes to sleep on my fiance's head. As amusing as that is to me sometimes it gets really frustrating. I take her off the bed and she jumps right back up. Time and time again. So now in order for my fiancee and myself to sleep we have to take her out of the room for the night otherwise she just won't let us sleep. It's a horrible thing when you have to wake up at 5 in the morning to go to work and you've only had 3 hours of sleep or less. I would suggest not allowing her to sleep in your bedroom. However if you still do maybe you can get her to sleep in her own little kitten bed. It's entirely up to you what you choose to do. However like I said earlier I would just put her outside of your bedroom at night. Oh yes and before I forget. She may cry and scratch at your bedroom door. However given a couple of days and a lot of patience on yours and your girlfriends part she should calm down. Good luck with raising your new kitten!

  2. Haha, that is so cute doesn't the kitty get tired at all? I suggest wear her out.

  3. I suggest you to have a cage for the cat i have a cage for my kitten too because she always go to our bathroom and find things.
