Anyway to lower Health Insurance Prem's? BCBS

Blue Cross is raping me on premiums every month. 191.00! I don't even go to the dr. at all! It's been like a freakin year! Why do these scumbags charge so much? So their execs can vacation and make 200k a yr? I hate you BCBS!

  1. Look for a qualified high deductible health plan that doesn't cover anything until you reach your deductible. Where I live this type of policy would cost  you $60 per month, and it pays for your annual checkup. Take what you save and put it in an HSA account just in case you ever need it.   2. I know it sucks. The only way is to raise the deductible and then what is the point. Mine just went up from 191 to 236 because I turned 50. I guess you must be around 48. McCain is offering a 2500 dollar a year tax benefit for private payers like us. Well 2500 for individuals and 5000 for families. That would get your premiums back.
