Anyway to make Taco Tofu? ?

Question

Okay, my family is having taco's tonight and Im vegetarian. I already have tofu drained.... is there anyway I could make some sort of taco tofu?

I would just brown the tofu crumbles & add in the taco seasoning mix & water.  you should be able to find a seasoning mix without hydrolyzed protein or animal fat. If not, you can mix your own seasoning and use that instead. Good luck!

Not sure about making it yourself, but Morning Star makes great vegan taco "beef".

You could always use refried beans/rice instead of meat.

Don't you mean tofu taco? Anyway, what you do is take some tofu and toss it in the garbage disposal.. Then get some prepared carne asada from your local carniceria, fry it up with some lard in a pan and put them on corn tortillas with chopped onions and cilantro. Put on a good spoonful of hot sauce of your liking and yum yum yum!!
