  1. It would depend on what type of bathing suit you want to wear.  If you want a bikini then I would say you will have to not go into the pool.

If you are wearing a full suit you may consider an adult diaper with a pair of plastic pants over them before you put your suit on.  It would help to contain things as long as you didn't stay in the water too long.  I really wouldn't want to be in a pool with someone that is having their period and aren't using any kind of protection.  I can just visualize all your discharge mixing in with the pool water that everyone else is sharing with you.  You may just want to stay out of the water and socialize with your friends or reschedule the get together for a week later or a week earlier for a time you aren't having a period.

    Good luck.

  2. What in the *#%* does this have to do with "pool and snooker"???......are there that many absent minded knuckleheads that don't realize that this "pool and snooker" is about "billiards"........if you don't know the difference between a pool table and a swimming pool.....don't expect me to ever invite you over when its that time of the month!!!! to play on my pool table or the swimming pool for that matter!!!!!!

  3. Your mother is right, tampons are unhygienic, they are also the most harmful menstrual options available because they prevent your vaginas self-cleaning functions, dries out the mucosa in your v****a, contain chemicals harmful to vaginal as well as general health and give bacteria a pores warm and moist environment in which to multiply. This is why tampons are linked with toxic shock syndrome, vaginal infections such as bacterial vaginosis, vaginal splitting, for many people they also contribute to heavier periods and menstrual cramping.

You can use other options in the pool, the only things you really cannot use would be commercial pads or organic pads because they are made from paper and stuck on with glues so will go mushy and unstuck in the water.

You can use cloth pads or padded panties in water, although they won't soak up the blood they do prevent flow going any further away from the body, although I would advise not using these on a heavy day and wearing shorts in the water to hide the wings if you are concerned about other people knowing.

The best option would be menstrual cups as these are internal with nothing at all showing on the outside of your body, they can also be worn for up to 12 hours so there is far less chance of leaking, unlike tampons they are also very hygienic and totally safe, they also don't contribute to menstrual cramps. Menstrual cups are also a lot more convenient because they don't have to be changed all the time, you don't have to carry around a load of spares, you can wear them before your period is due, you can wear them at night, they are far cheaper than tampons and environmentally friendly, the manufacturers are also far more ethical.

Alternatively of course you could also skip lessons, your teacher no matter how strict cannot make you swim if you have your period, simply tell your teacher that you are not swimming because you are on your period. If your teacher tries to punish you for that then go to a teacher you trust or a school nurse, they will see it is unfair and sort everything out for you – if you are a pad user then they can hardly expect you to get into the pool. Or you could be a real rebel and swim anyway, see how they react when you leave a trail of blood behind you :oP

  4. God I am so sorry I just do not know how to answer you but I feel for you so much .

I think I would be tempted to have a chat with a good friend and ask her help, probably going against your mother's back, which isn't good.

Could you not approach the teacher and explain the cultural problem  I am sure she will understand.

Bless, I will be thinking of you, best of luck
