Anywhere decent to eat Ruislip/Uxbridge area? Not Indian or chinese, possibly Italian or a pub with good food?

Not looking for trendy, just good food and not too noisy. Girls out for a good chat!

There is a good pub called "The Case is Altered" which is near Joel Street.... good food and a great boozer that was mentioned in the good pub guide... food finishes at about 9pm though.  Restaurants.... there's Pavlos in Ruislip Manor.....and there's El Nomad in Ruislip High Street... which serves very Mediterranean foods.   And for the best ribs go to Blue Beckers in Ruislip... fantastic food and a great atmosphere.  My favourites though are some of the restaurant's in Hatch End and Pinner but that's another story.  Happy eating....
