Anywhere near Bowling Green State University to snowboard/ski??

Question

i'm attending BGSU in the fall and i snowboard. is there a ski/snowboard club at BGSU or is there a resort anywhere near BGSU i can go to???

West Virginia,,,,,,Canaan Valley, Snowshoe, Virginia, Massunutten, there are probably other areas closer in West Virginia.  Indianapolis has one resort, but you won't be happy unless you're a new skiier.

I don't believe there is a ski/snowboard club at BGSU (I kinda checked, but the search came up with no results) since Bowling Green is not known for being hilly, but flat and windy. Because BG is flat, there is nowhere to ski or snowboard.  

When you get to BGSU you can ask around about the existence of such a club. A good person to ask would be your peer facilitator in your BGeX class. If they don't know, they'll most likely find out for you.

There is also something called Campus Fest which takes place sometime during the first weeks of class, where all the clubs and organizations set up a table on the lawn and try to get people to join their clubs. Every organization/club is represented at this event.

The best place to inquire is the Office of Campus Activities. If there isn't already a snowboard/ski club at BGSU they will let you create one yourself.
