Anywhere with road signs warning about ghosts or phantom hitchhikers?

Question

I was in Taiwan 2 years ago and was travelling along a mountain road just north of Taipei. I saw a road sign depicting a ghost besides the road. It is an official road sign. I assume that part of the road must be haunted.

I wonder anyone has seen these kind of road signs in other parts of the world?

I'd love to see that sign, if only to see what highway people think ghosts look like.

Never heard of that!That's really interesting! Maybe there's a famous haunting around there and they don't want people slowing down to look for it everywhere else.Maybe tourists /ghost hunters have asked so many times about the ghost location they got tired of answering them and put up signs. Or..like the poster above said..maybe there's a real ghost who has tried to hitchhike with people. I think that 's really cool that they would do that.lol

There could be,as a joke or tourist draw.If you mean as a warning like a deer crossing.I doubt most people would want their tax dollars spent on silliness.

   Whether you believe in ghosts and phantom hitchhikers or not.No one has ever been hurt or injured by either one.Ghost warnings up along with falling rock zone or dangerous curve signs.That sounds awfully silly to me.

I haven't seen any sign's, but i think it would be a good thing to post, being roadways are hot spots for the Paranormal. Not all drivers understand what they see, but with these sign's, at least they are prepared for living and non-living surprises. :)

No, but normally they resemble not to let them in. For instance there was a video floating around youtube based off a true story. It was that the girl told them to stop right where the bridge ended and they got into a car accident and died. That was where she died. Two years before that. And those signs just mean that letting them in could harm you.
