Anzhi Makhachkala’s Traore hoping to start Russian Cup final against CSKA Moscow – Football news
Anzhi Makhachkala striker, Lacina Traore, has expressed a desire to start the upcoming Russian Cup final against CSKA Moscow at Terek Stadium (Grozny) on June 1, 2013.

Traore, who has scored 12 goals in 24 league appearances since making a big move to the Dagestani club from Kuban Krasnodar last summer, is yet to score a goal in the domestic cup tournament.
The Ivorian International missed two games in the same competition against FC Krylia Sovetov Samara and Dynamo Moscow after picking up a straight red card in the round-of-32 against FC Ural.
Traore came off as a second-half substitute in the semi-final of the tournament against Zenit St. Petersburg at Petrovsky Stadium.

Speaking on Ignashevich’s absence, Traore said that CSKA have a lot of skilful defenders who can replace the vice-captain.
News in Russian media has linked Traore with a move back to Kuban this summer. However, the 23-year-old has rubbished the news after saying that he is happy at the Makhachkala-based club at the moment.
