Dennis Lachter has acknowledged that Inter Milan benefited the most from the multi-million pounds sale of Eto’o to Anzhi Makhachkala during last summer.
Well known FIFA agent, Dennis Lachter, has admitted that Samuel Eto’o is yet to prove his worth following his 20 million pounds transfer to Anzhi Makhachkala from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan last year.
The Cameroonian national has become symbolic of Anzhi’s disappointing season, having scored 8 goals in 17 outings since switching to the Russian Premier League.
Lachter admitted that people expect a lot more from Eto’o, who is struggling to score more goals in his debut campaign. The Israeli national revealed that the Cameroonian striker is finding it difficult to cope with the pressure
after the move that made him the highest paid centre forward in the world.
Eto’o, while speaking on life in Russia, had also admitted that he is finding it difficult to play on poor Russian pitches in devastating weather. Reports in Russian suggest that Eto’o could go back to Serie A, with Italian outfit
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 rumoured to be interested.
“I was warned that Russia is cold but I was unaware of the poor fields. It is sad that in such a beautiful championship, it’s not possible to play at full strength. The weather stops us from playing like we can somewhere else. That's
not football, it's something completely different.” The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 player was quoted as saying.
The Cameroonian forward had expressed his desire to return to San Siro in the upcoming summer transfer window. However, his agent has publically denied a move back to the Nerazzurri.
Lachter revealed that the Wild-division’s record signing needs to tell his critics that he is worth every single penny the Dagestani club have paid for him by scoring 20-25 goals next season.
“Eto’o, for whom Anzhi have paid a huge amount and paying an unbelievable salary, should score 20-25 goals in Russia with his eyes closed.” Lachter concluded.
The Israeli national went on to admit that Eto’o, who scored 21 goals before joining the ambitious Russian outfit, needs to rediscover his old form.
