  1. Hi I live near Aosta, and as all the region is a nice place.... if you are looking for a flat it's quiet easy to find... it's a touristic place and if you rent a flat not only for the skiing season you can have a good price..... As I told you is a touristic place but it's very nice and quite, it's between the best mountain of Italy and if you love skiing or trekking you can really enjoy.... You will also appreciate italian food... and don't forget Sant'Orso days when a market of typical products take place in the main street.

I hope you'll understand my terrible english... Have nice days here in Italy

  2. Aosta is BEAUTIFUL.  Actually, all Valdaosta is beautiful.  It is one of the most lovely regions in Italy.  Alittle "pricey" lately, but a lot depends on your job.  In other words, your rate of pay will determine what you can get away with.  Housing, as all over Europe, is a lot like the States.  But, in the greater Aosta's area, you can find nice apartments for singles or married people.

Sometimes there is a little complex called "malga." It's sort of like a farm for many families.  They are isolated but lovely and out in the countryside.

A little shopping and some sweet talk will get you the right price too ;)

Although they are used to strangers because tourism is a big thing there, they are tough people because they live in the moments.  Make a friend and they're your's for life...
