First off, for those of you who do not already know, you can call in, pay $8, and get your AP scores now instead of waiting until the 3rd week of July. I got a 4 on my AP chemistry test. I know I should be happy, but I really thought I was going to get a 5 this year. Science is by far my best and favorite subject, and I got the highest average in my AP chemistry class this year. I feel like a 4 doesn't reflect how hard I've worked this year, spending every possible moment getting extra help, and taking so many practice APs that I became bored. Anyways, my teacher told me that a student like me is almost guaranteed a 5, and now that I didn't achieve that, I feel not upset, but at the same time not satisfied.
So, my real question here is do colleges really care much about whether you got a 4 or a 5? I had an A in the actual class, so which counts more, the grade in the class or the grade on the AP? Also, I know it depends on the college, but does anyone know if I want to major cont...
