  1. wait till 11th grade. if you just took reg chem you will fail the ap chem.

  2. wait until sophomore/junior year at least. AP is for those college ready

  3. don't do it unless you have more experience in higher level courses. regular classes are not like honors or ap classes at all. give yourself some time to take other easier ap classes before you dive into chemistry. or else you may be overwhelmed by the workload.

and since its just your freshman year, give yourself time to adjust to high school level work. because high school level work and college classes are two different things.

  4. I say go for it.  If you feel really strongly about your knowledge in chemistry, you shouldn't be too worried.  I took AP Chemistry last year and I was also really concerned that I wouldn't do well, but it wasn't as difficult as I had thought.

  5. trust me, you do not want to take a hard class when u just begin high school.  im going to be a senior and im going to take AP chem and i know/heard that it is extremely difficult, (as hard as AP physics, if not harder) and you're still little!  i think you should wait a little while, probably until 11th grade to take it.  take biology first

  6. why dont you take biology and precalc instead of math analysis?
