Which class is harder in terms of the time being spent on homework and studying for tests? If so, why? Which class has more word problems and require more "critical thinking"?

Thank you very much

  1. AP stat is a lot easier than AP calc. Calculus definitely requires more thinking compared to stat, thus requiring more 'critical thinking.' The homework load depends on the schools, but I think AP stat has less homework.

Stat is more number direct, like plots, graphs, probabilities, etc. I think stat is a lot more useful in real life especially if you're a business-oriented person.

Calc is more about understanding concepts, like limits, derivatives, asymptotes and such.

For me, I think stat is more fun than calc. You'd use graphs and probabilities and such a lot more than asymptotes in real life. But it depends on which you find more interesting to you.
