  1. AP.  i don't know about spanish, but here is my history story.  i took a half-year AP euro class, got a B in it, and got a 5 on the AP.  in june i took the U.S. history SAT 2.  my preparation for it included half a year in 9th grade, a full year in 10th, and a half year in 11th (first half) of combined U.S. and European history.  i did one U.S. history practice tests, and got a 710 on the actual test.  you will probably do more than fine on the U.S. history SAT 2.

  2. Subject tests are MUCH easier than AP's.  Just get the book for the Subject test and start looking at it a week or 2 before you're scheduled to take the test and you'll be fine.  Since you're looking at Harvard, I assume you're either a hard worker or very good at cramming.  So depending on which, choose which studying works best for you.

  3. I got a 3 on the AP bio exam but I scored a 710 on the

Bio SAT II. In my opinion the SAT II was much easier:]

If you got a 5 on the US history AP, I don't think you should take the subject test since you don't remember anything. You should have taken the SAT II when the subject matter was fresh in your memory.
