  1. Most of the nation across the globe are susceptible to recession once the US experience it because most of our currency are dollar dependent. Dollar dependent in terms that every countries gold reserve is convertible to dollars. That is why when US experience recession other countries follow but in different degree of recession.

  2. First of all, were not in a recession. Fear driven media is telling you that we are. WERE NOT...

  3. The European Union is estimated to have already experienced negative GDP growth in the 2nd quarter of this year, so they're halfway there according to the formal definition.

  4. First, the United States is not in a recession.  The simplest definition of recesson is two consecutive quarters of negative GDP growth.  We have not had one yet.  There is another formula that the National Bureau of Economic Records uses that is far more complicated.  We didn't have two consecutive quarters of negative GDP growth from March 2001- November 2001 (the last recession) either, but by the time the NBER declared a recession, it wasn't until December 2001 and the recession was "over".

To answer the next part of your question, I was reading news reports from Europe when I was practice-trading the Euro spot market and I think I saw that Germany, France, Italy, Ireland and the UK were halfway there with one quarter of negative GDP growth.  As for the rest of the world, I'm not sure.

  5. The Uk is going to apparently (i live there)

  6. Most of the northern hemesphire...
