Apart from Roger Federer? There are people out there with more lethal forehands than Roger Federer you know. Fernando Gonzalez for a start. He has a MONSTER forehand that everyone except Rog fans would say is bigger. Also James Blake has a really really clean forehand that is just devastating. And have you forgotten about Nadal. Have you seen the vicious top spin and speed on them.

Roger's is good but cannot be classed as the best by any means.

I'd say Pete Sampras.  Apart from his serve, he had an absolutely devastating running forehand that immediately put his opponents on the defensive if it wasn't a clean winner.  He loved running to his right and blasting it cross court and that shot won him many matches when his serve wasn't on.

Andy Roddick has a very strong forehand. Marat Safin has been the best returner during his prime. Leyton Hewitt has a very well-placed one. Novak Djokovic has a lethal one too.

However, Roger's forehand is blunt on clay...
