frank pritchard from panthers has already starting talking with french rugby clubs so probably him.

and people that say " oh it doesnt matter who leaves theres plenty of young talent coming up" well it wont be long before they start grabbing kids from the toyota cup unless the nrl does something about it, but theres not much they can do because they dont have the money to compete with other codes

its funny that the highest paid footballers are the ones going to union and getting paid even more money for playing a sport they have never played

I don't think there is a plan to get our players. Sonny Bill has looked disinterested in football for a while. Whether it's because so many first graders have left Canterbury over recent years or it's because everyone expects him to win them games.

The other two who have left to rugby went because they were allowed to under their contracts. Rugby is not going to suit all players but will suit backs more so than forwards. The English Super League still looks as though that will be our greatest danger, particularly with two new teams in their comp.

Money is our problem area with the NSW clubs being most  affected because of the pokie tax and new smoking laws. Perhaps a change to salary cap rules and third party sponsorship may turn around this overseas exodus.

Mark Gasnier is going at the end of the NRL season. I think Feleti Mateo would be really good at Rugby with his speed and power put together.

I guess we should take it as a compliment that all these international teams believe that our players are highly desirable!

I would keep an eye on Inu, Fitzgibbon, and Roberts. I wish Gasnier would just get up and go...have heard enough about him and his Union decision to last me a lifetime!

I don't think Big Willy is that stupid to tell the truth. I have to admit I was extremely disappointed when he and Shrek defected to Roosters...it was bad enough they left Bulldogs, but to go to Roosters?! He was offered to go and try out for a contract with an American NFL team last year, but decided to turn it down and stay with NRL despite his constant problems with Bulldogs Admin. I think in hindsite of the SBW drama, he would be seriously choosing to stay with the team that saved his sanity! (as much as I dislike Roosters, at least they will let him box).
