Apart from an accurate timekeeper, what other info would you like from a watch?

On an analog watch, you'll always by able to say what is North, South, East and West as long as you can see the Sun..

well since I'm sort of an active guy who likes to hike, bike, boat, fish.... id want a good quality waterproof watch maybe some of the following: gps odometer and speedometer, compass, heartbeat sensor or a altimeter

Barometric pressure, atmospheric humidity, local cloudbase altitude, a pointer and distance to the nearest pub.
