Apart from flexibility, is distance learning better or attending lectures at an Institute is better?

FOR DEGREE PROGRAMMES, DISTANCE LEARNING MAY BE FLEXIBLE. BUT WHICH ONE IS BETTER? IS IT DISTANCE LEARNING OR ATTENDING LECTURES.

There is nothing like personal touch and contact.

So from that stand point distance learning, does not have any chance even to stand competition.

It is up to you.

There are lots of other problem with distance learning Institutes. As some of them may not have good standing and reputation, they may be just Diploma mills. This may be true of some institutes also.

In both cases some have good reputation and good prestige.

So make sure to check the institute for such things.

Defintely it would be better if the same is learnt from a well known reputed institution like big B schools.

Both are better in their own ways.It is as simple as this.

1)Distance learning with a humble heart can narrow the distance.

2)The other one with no heart lenthens the band gap.
