Apartment rental in/near Munich?

Question

Hi, we will be visiting Munich during Oktoberfest and would like to rent an apartment in/near Munich for a week. Can anyone suggest a good one or a service that will help us find one. We would like to find one near a train station if outside of Munich.

Its gonna be very difficult to rent an apartment for just a week, you should try a hotel or a guesthouse instead.

Jim and Rebecca, what ever you decide to do do it now.. I agree I don't think you will find a one week apartment around Octoberfest time...but there are a lot of decent inexpensive hotels in the area for 1 week...You don't need to worry too much about being near a transportation line...all of Munich is near a transportation line...they have the best subway and tram and bus system in the world IMHO.

You might have to go through a load until you'll find something that is actually available for just a week, but if you do, it might be worth it (actually even if you have to rent for a month it might come out cheaper than booking an hotel esp. if you are going to prepare meals "at home" rather than eat out)

That is a very difficult problem. Because everybody would like to stay in munich. May be you can watch in the www.yellopage.de / or you conact the train office in munich .
