My sisters and I are planning on moving to Japan when we turn 18, so we need an apartment/a house with at least 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you could just give me a link to a site where I could look through a bunch of them, I would really appreciate it! Thank you in advance!!!

  1. And exactly how are you going to support yourselves ? You can't even work at a McDonald's unless you can speak read and write Japanese at a native level.

A three bedroom place would cost you over $2,000.Plus gas, water, ect, ect...

  2. I'd make other plans...Japanese immigration laws don't allow you to just move there.

And few Japanese landlords are going to rent a three bedroom place to teenage girls. Can you afford $2,000 ++a month rent?

And BTW, you need a four year degree to work in Japan, unless you plan on being a dancer in a club. You also need a job offer to qualify for a work visa.

Try the Japan section of craigslist.

  3. http://www.tokyoapartments.jp/

    Is a good place.

Also look at Sakura House, which is a good bilingual company.

  4. Japanese apartments have only 1 bathroom. There are few of them with 2 or more bathrooms.

BTW, if you want to move to Japan, you have to take visa. If you want to take student visa for example, you have to be admitted by a Japanese college.

If you go to college for 4 years in Japan, you need at least $80,000 for tuition and living cost. So good luck for your fund raising.

  5. Yes, lets just pack our bags and move to japan! Seriously, did you even think about Japanese immigration standards? Its not like America where you can just walk over the border and demand government handouts. To live in Japan, you must have a proper visa, have a certified degree from an accredited university, and be able to perform a job that the average Japanese is unable to do effectively (typically, teaching English). Who is going to sponsor you?
