Question:

Apolitically speaking...is it not an axiom that both our govts. are bigotted?

It seems to me that by clouding the war issue (not admitting that the main issue is the expected duration of the war...two or three decades........still with no guarantee of cessation) that our Govts. are bigots per the english dictionary. Also not fessing up to the fact that there was no real grounds for the original ''blitzkrieg'' effort in Iraq {also axiomatic}...how can any further conflict there be justified except by simple biggotry?

  1. are you talking about bigotry?

    or

as it will be known to future generations.....

    THE BIG STUPID WAR?

  2. What do you mean by both our governments?

  3. Iraq was not a war, it was a mugging.  To qualify as a war, the victim has to have the ability to fight back.

The 'duration' is not a political issue.  The US is locked in as they have wiped out one of the oppressors (Saddam and the house of Saudi) it emplaced to prevent the synergy of s**+'ite residents of the main oil-producing areas in the middle east.  The majority s**+'ites of south Iraq, could ally with Iran's majority s**+'ites to topple the extremely repressive Saudi regime.  Where would US oil come from them?

You must also remember that the US is a corporate plutocracy, with elections merely to decide the spokespersons for the corporate 'owners' who provide the cash for them to contest the election.  There is no way the US presence will be pulled.  I can, however see troops withdrawn and Blackwater remaining - very lucrative and corporately correct.!

Kuwait was handled earlier, so there is that lifeline - unless they do get together.

  4. Bigotry has nothing to do with this war. This war is about

establishing permanent military bases in the Middle East,

securing a country rich in natural resources, and padding the

    pockets of the military-industrial complex.

    :-o

  5. Some people could make a race issue out of a snow cone, why is that?

  6. look the gov is supported by the arms industry the need any excuse to use there smart (sic) weapons if we in ireland discoved oil id bet u the us would be here to uphold demoracy
