Apparantly this is true....massively want to put it to test!?

Ok, so there has been word on the streets (of London and quite possibly other places I'm sure) that apparantly, if you walk into any McDonalds and say to a worker'Da, da, da, da, da' they HAVE to reply 'I'm Lovin' It!'

The word is, it's actually in their contract and therefore legally binding!

I mean, how funny is this if it's true? I'm massively going to try it but in the mean time, if there is anyone out there that knows the truth right now, please shed the McLight!

PS

Really want it to be true by the way.

  1. I just called and asked my friend, that is a manager at McDonald's, and he said he has never heard anything about that. So I'm going to have to go with false, but you could always do it anyway just to see how many people reply.

  2. Is there a Spanish translation for Southern California?

  3. absolute garbage

  4. Do you really think wage workers sign a contract?

There may (or may not be) incentives for people to respond this way, such as it being part of general performance which is evaluated by the employer. Just like at Waffle House, workers greet everyone or at Wal-Mart employees are supposed to smile.

But I would doubt very much that one of the most successful fast food producers would ask its employees to waste time on such nonsense. What benefit would there be? It would distract both from production and customer service, which ultimately costs money.

  5. not true.

  6. I doubt there is any truth in this.

  7. It's a McWind-up. In other words, theyre taking the McPiss.

  8. wouldnt know but I did go up to a drive through intercom the other day and say 'and then' and the guy started laughing on the other end....

  9. I really can't imagine ANYONE in our local McD's making the connection, let alone responding that way.  At best, you may get made fun of for stuttering, but that's about it.

  10. HAHAHA yahoo answers users are so freakin stupid

  11. would love that to be true but this could totally backfire you could stand there and say it and the person could just stare at u like ur a tw@t but still it would be funny

  12. McDonalds employees do not sign contracts, they fill out applications LOL

  13. we dared our friend to do it in 1 of the mcdonald restauraunts in newcastle and the worker actually replied, im lovin it and did a jolly little dance.. lol

  14. That would be fun... but I doubt it's true

  15. not true

  16. ahhh i dont know if you have noticed but mcds workers are either young kids at thier first jobs or uneducated adults going no where in life.  and having worked there before (young kid at the time) there are no contracts signed being a mcds worker.  so at best, you may get a little 'extra' in your food by annoying the workers with your antics.  that being said.  it think its a funny idea.
