Apparently it is impossible to sneeze with your eyes open. Is the same true of vomiting?

I feel an experiment coming on here old boy, I shall take Mrs Humfrey's in to the cellar along with a large bottle of gin (not the good stuff you understand) and put this theory to the test. Of course I shall horsewhip her savagely every time she closes her eyes while vomiting as an incentive for her to keep them open! All in the name of science. Tip top.

no you can vomit with your eyes open. that sounds like one cool painting. Please post a link so we can see it when your answer gets resolved.

Painting with vomit? Are you sick, or what? Your eyelids stay shut to stop your eyeballs popping out in both cases. It should be obvious.

If I ever vomit, I keep my eyes open - I think all people do.

not sure about the spewing but the other has been proved wrong with high speed photography...i saw it on tv a while ago...his expression wes hilarious
