Apparently the word LOYALTY is not in the new owner of Man City's vocabulary?

Question

He wants City to become the "biggest club in the world" by buying all the best players and attracting many fans. Has he no idea of how loyal some fans are to their club. He wants to buy Ronaldo,who plays for city rivals Man U...now tell me WHY IN THE HECK Man U would sell Ronaldo to Man City? If he's going anywhere,it's Real Madrid. And then Ronaldinho,who has only recently arrived in Milan.Apparently his list also includes Fernando Torres and Leo Messi. What is this man's problem? Money alone does not make a great football club.

Obviously you are a follower of football or you wouldn't be posting on this forum. It would be interesting if you had stated which club you support.Everybody is entitled to have a gripe, but in all honesty this sounds purely like sour grapes. Accept it. Live with it. The man obviously think that the fastest way to success is to buy it. But we all know that is not the case.

City may attract some of the biggest names. But they will also attract a lot of mercenaries who will move club to club wherever there is a big money offer.

Form is temporary, class is permanent.

I totally agree.

I just asked a similar question saying that he must expect them to be able to work together which is about as possible as City winning the treble three years in a row < Very Unlikely.

He is somebody who obviously does  not care about the sport, players or fans as you said and that will not go down well.

He's personally flushing City and whatever dignity they had in the first place down the toliet.

Unfortunately, this is where the game is heading. Sad isn't it. It isn't the people's game anymore. It's a business. However it isn't just happening at Manchester City, though I will say the amount of wealth being flaunted here is very dangerous for English football.  I think offers to these players are his way of making a statement. I also think he has quite a lot to learn about football mentality, fans, rivalry and loyalty however so do some players. Bottom line though, this is serious money and undoubtedly some players (maybe not those you mention) will make the switch as the $ will be too tempting and that will help build City. Guess we wait and see what happens.

Biggest Club in the World? Well not in this one! NO WAY he can buy 18 of the worlds best player and keep them in one minor club. Messi? Ronaldinho? Kaka? Ronaldo? DO you actually think that all those players can play in the same club?

Its like a dream team ( Zidane, Pele, Maradona, Platini all in the same team?)

Even if they get all those players there's a million percent chance that they would go broke.

its not JUST a matter of loyalty

IF he gets all these players like he says,theres the issue of whether they are going to cooperate well and get along with each other

there has to be consistency in the team as well as the manager has to know what he is doing not just have the players and rely on them to win his clubs title.the squad has to rely on him and on his experience and his good tactics
