People don't have the kind of "appeal" power that you seem to think they do. Go ahead and sign some petition. See if your job doesn't suddenly disappear and you lose your home soon after. As for Russians, they know better than to mess with their government else they would find themselves in a prison torture chamber. They were able to get the communists out of power, but the same big wigs are still in control. So, nothing really changed for the better for the average Russian. It got worse.

First of all it's not just Russia, Georgia and people of Europe who are involved.

This conflict definitely looks to be US and Israeli inspired. So maybe your main appeal should be to the US & Israeli governments and peoples.

Georgia is withdrawing  its troops. The world has disapproved Russian attack.  We hope that situation will improve. Thank you for your concern about the situation.

The USA's "mediator" will make things worse.

Georgia has to obey what it has signed. And in this case Russia will stop all the fire.
