I'm looking at lumber for some "honey do" jobs, what is appearance board? I thought lumber was basically treated and non-treated.

  1. An appearance board is graded for appearance.  This is a type of dressed lumber that you would use in an application that will be visible.  You may find that you can choose from several grades and species of appearance boards, depending upon your region and the store.
