Appendicitis in Toddlers?

Question

my little girl who is 18months now has been in hospital for about a week now with suspected appendicitis, does anyone know the recovery time for this?

the doctors arent being very clear. Thanks

if the diagnosis is confirmed ,she will need surgical appendectomy and within a day or two after surgery discharged home once stable and her intestines function normally(no ileus)
