Appendicitis or just cramping?

Question

I have sharp abdominal pain that hurts when i walk or get up, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting. And i also havent been eating much because food seems really gross to me right now. But also, i just started my period a few days ago. So is it appendicitis or just cramping?

If it is not very painful it is not appendicitis , it is just cramping

well if it hurts in ur lower right side then maybe..but if not the just cramping or stomach flu..but if its right then get it checked out..:)

well if there is even the TINIEST chance that it is appendicitis you NEED TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL... it is not worth risking your life in not going.... good luck and hope you feel better...

If its a terribly sharp pain in just your left side then it could be your appendix, but otherwise it sounds like some bad period pains.. I have them like that every summer, take a cold bath, it really helps i promise

Is it just on one side of your body, or your whole lower stomach area? You could just have a small virus, but you might want to go see a doctor. If it was appendicitis, your whole right side would be sharp cramping pain. But yea, get it checked out.

Ive always heard vomiting for appendicitis. I would have it checked out sounds a lil scarey!

I have had a appendectomy, and trust me the pain will make you do anything to make it stop! it starts almost like butterfly's in your stomach and then it grabs a hole of your sight side like a pair of pliers and you should be screaming at this point,am i resolving any confusion on if it is period cramps or appendicitis? and this is not to make light of your pain issue but the two are not even close. oh it was taken out of my right side. you also might have a bug keep an eye if you don;t get better please go to the Doctor that is the best person to give advice. good luck

It's possible that you have Appendicitis.To be completely sure check with a doctor.

where is the pain? Is it low on the right side?

If so go to the er. It is very serious if it is appendicitis.. If it ruptures you could die.

sounds like cramps. that's exactly how i feel when i get bad cramps. if it was appendicitis, it would just be on the right side. and since you said you just started your period, i'm betting it's cramps.

if the pain is on the right side of ur abdomen it might be ur appendix.

You may have ovarian cysts.  I've had those before and I had similar symptoms to what you are describing.  I also can get nausea and vomiting from bad cramps.  I believe appendicitis hurts mainly on the right region.
