So the past four or so hours I've had a pain on the lower right side of my stomach, it's not my ovary I had it removed as well as my gallbladder. So I'm just afraid it might be my appendix, I'm not really sure what the symptoms are of an appendicitis the pain keeps coming and going. It's fairly uncomfortable and I've never experienced this before. I'd just rather not waste my time, or my doctor's time. And I lose my insurance the 1st of September so on the flip side I don't want to wait then there be something wrong and have a heavy bill to pay. So my question is, what exactly are the signs of an appendicits or what should I do.

  1. better safe than sorry... definetly go to the doctor. i thought i had appendicitis but it ended up not being that but my doctor was still glad i came to check it out. please do your self a favor. the main sign is abdominal (right side) pain.a second early symptom is loss of appetite which may progress to nausea and vommiting. go to a doctor!!!! hope i helped =] and feel better

  2. The signs of an appendicitis is a fever, dislike very loud noises, and a sharp pain in the right side of the stomach!!! What you should do is lay down relax take an aspirin and call your doctor in the morning!!!!

  3. In the early stages of appendicitis, the pain is usually diffuse, meaning it is hard to pinpoint it to one exact area, but as the disease progresses it usually localizes to the lower right area of the stomach, in the area about halfway between your navel and the top of your right pelvic bone.

The area usually feels tender when you touch it, and tends to feel worse if you put pressure on it and release it suddenly.

Nausea, fever, constipation, and loss of appetite are the other symptoms.

If you think you may have appendicitis, you need to get checked out ASAP. Don't worry about your time or the doctor's time, appendicitis is a medical emergency that can be life-threatening. If the appendix ruptures it spreads bacteria throughout your intestines which is very dangerous. Even if it turns out not to be appendicitis, it is still something you need to get checked out immediately.

  4. jump on your right leg. if there is an extreme amount of pain its appendicitis.
