Apple AirPort - Which is more worth buying? And why?

AirPort Express or AirPort Extreme?

If it is just you and a couple others than Express is right for you, unless you have a really big house then you may want AirPort Extreme.  The hotels are the most handy thing with the Express you plug it into a hotels wired connection and presto, instant wireless internet!!!

My pick is the Express because of the price but if you are serving a lot of people (like over 5 or so) then go for the Extreme.

Neither. They're both overpriced compared to other simple wi-fi routers. I use Linksys, myself. Never a single problem configuring them with my Mac. You just have to use the web interface of the router instead of OS X's airport config utility.

That said, if you travel a lot to hotels that have wired connections but no wireless the Express is a godsend. It's trick little device.
