Question:

Apple Cider Vinegar as a supplement?

I've been trying to get into a more healthy eating and exercising regimen. I'm exercising more and also heard that taking Apple Cider Vinegar could help me lose weight and feel better overall. I'm not sure I have all the correct details of how to take it and when.

I have regular apple cider vinegar from the grocery store. I don't like the taste very much so I decided that a standard shot (1.2 oz) at night would do the trick. I've heard you should take 2 tbs before each meal.

Do I have the right stuff?

Am I taking it right or would I benefit more from taking it throughout the day?

Any information is helpful.

  1. Well, 2 tbs before meals is about right. And it doesn't really matter what time you take it. But I don't think it will be very pleasant for you to take it raw :) Add it to a cup of your favorite natural fruit juice and you won't be able to taste the strong vinegary taste. Is what I usually do... Add pure honey (no sugar added) if desired

  2. Sounds right to me. It's suggested that Apple Cider Vinegar has such curative abilities because it causes one's pH levels to become more alkaline.

  3. I take apple cider vinegar daily, i mix it with honey and delute it a little with water to get a taste like pickle juice. It works wonders for just about anything. You are very smart to do this! You can also go to vinegar web sites and you can get tons of info. I just buy mine at the grocery store, maybe the organic is better but i don't see that it would be. I am even thinking of making my own, it's really quite simple.
