Apple Crumble or Apple Pie?

Question

Which do you prefer?

Do you eat it with Ice Cream or Custard or maybe something else (other than a spoon)

I personally prefer Apple Crumble and Ice Cream :) :) :)

Hard decision. I like both....I think I would have to plump for crumble.

What with? Who cares, it's apple crumble! What ever you have it with, it will still be great!

i LOVE both but if i have to choose it would be apple crumble hands down :) with either ice cream or cream :) yuuum scrum in my tum :) hehe

Apple pie is nice, but only if it comes without custard!! I hate the stuff.. I have only ever had crumble when it's hot and accompanied by the dreaded custard, so I have never liked it...

I'd go for apple crumble aswel...its comfort food at its best! I like it with hot custard in the winter but ice cream in the summer...both are nice!

I love them both Crumble and Pie and would struggle to choose a favourite.

The easiest way around it in my house is the old family favourite (which I think might be based on a german recipe) is an Apple pie with a Crumble topping

In otherwords... pastry bottom, lots of lovely apple filling, crumble mix on top.

Yum, Yum, Yum

To serve... a little Cinnamon Icecream... provided the pie or crumble is toasting hot.

Has to be apple crumble, thick creamy custard with a dollop of clotted cream in the middle..... the top of the crumble has to be golden and crispy (sugar coated) and big chunks of apple under it........

......... dreaming of apple crumble now..........mmmm......
