Apple Ipod earphone's?

I recently purchased the latest i pod, and would like to know if any share's the view, that Apple supply very poor quality head phones in comparison to the actual cost of the overall package?? Basicaly I feel ripped off

I know what you mean,they are very basic, they can be picked up from eBay for £4/$8, but i suppose if Apple supplied better earphones the price would go up.

I think they presume most people will buy specific headphones for there own needs, somebody who uses their iPod for exercise wil want a different type to somebody who wants noise cancelling.

Yup, the standard iPod 'phones are known for their poor quality - even worse that the shoddy build of the iPod itself.

This is why Steve Jobs is so rich - he can sell total rubbish, to millions of people, at a vast profit.
