How much storage in Gigabytes does in a regular Apple Macbook?

I dont understand what they say on the website I just want to know how much in gigs you can store lol!

  1. 150GB rounded up. 160GB HDD, with 10GB used up. Enuf said.


  2. the  hard drives are  160 gig

    the  preinstalled software is around 10 gig

    so  150 to  149  gig is  free


  3. lol you can store on how many gigabytes it specifies.. You can ask TR Vidcom they sell and rent apple products.

  4. I'm not sure what "they say on the website" but I think your confusion is the typical GB confusion

    When a hard drive manufacturer says a hard drive holds 160GB, they mean it holds 160,000,000,000 Bytes. But there are are actually 1024 Bytes in a Kilobyte, and 1025 Kilobytes in a Megabyte, etc. So a 160GB hard drive actually only holds about 149GB of data.

    The installed software takes up AT LEAST 10GB, but maybe more Garageband Instruments and iDVD themes and such.
