Apple become most valuable company in the world
Apple have gone on to silence all their critics as the company went on to claim the title of being the most valuable company in the world. This status of being on top of the world, wasn’t long lived, but it just went to prove that the company is looking
to break the barriers and topple all competition in the not-so-distant future.
Apple went on to topple Exxon Mobil, as their market value soared to a massive $347.3 billion. There was a 6.1% raise in the company’s value yesterday, which was confirmed by the Nasdaq Stock Market. This spike helped it achieve this outrageous market value.
Despite Apple going on to take the number one spot, Exxon ended up on top, due to their stocks stabilizing later on in the day. However, despite Exxon currently being back on top, it won’t be long before the two battle it out for the top spot once again.
Apple have been boasting a ridiculously outstanding sales record lately. For the third fiscal quarter, which ended on June 25th, Apple reported a revenue of $28.57-billion and a profit of $7.31-billion. What is astounding is the fact that these
figures are from a three month period only.
It is no surprise to see Apple do as brilliantly as they are in the market. Almost everyone has identified the company as their direct rival, which goes to show just how diverse the company actually is.
Apple are currently set to launch a new iPhone, iPad and a series of MacBooks. As a result, we can assume that once those products hit the market, Apple’s sales are going to take a massive spike, which in turn could see them leapfrog over Exxon and create
a decent gap between the two companies’ market values.
Should we step back and take a look at just what makes Apple tick, we can discover that the company has products that target pretty much everyone, rather than just being focused to a niche group of customers.
The company produces products like the iPod Shuffle, the iPhone, iPad, and MacBook to name a few. What’s distinct about this is the fact that the price distribution that the company has done to differentiate them from each other, makes them affordable for
nearly everyone.
It seems like Apple are the only company to really understand what their customers want and have gone on to deliver, time and time again.
That being said, the way things are shaping up, it is safe to say that the sky is the limit for Apple.
