Apple computer battery keeps dying!?

Question

i have a ibook G4 and i can turn it on without the power cord in. when ever it's in i takes about 10 to 20 mins to recharge. but when i use it with out the powercord my computer shuts off within 2 mins.. help??

your rechargeable battery is old and you need to buy a new one
