Apple iphone Question.?

I want to buy a iphone. But i want to buy it without any AT&T PHONE PLANS. I dont want it connected as a phone. I want it as an ipod and internet and all the other functions on it except a phone. I also want it because its better paying 199$ instead of 299$ for i touch. So can I buy it without AT&T service. I HOPE

I recommend u buy the ipod Touch because if u buy an iphone without service, it cost $499 or $399

no. the only way to buy an iphone is to go to an apple store and they force you to activate your iphone right there. even if you get one from somewhere else it wont work without being activated.

just buy an 8 gig ipod touch(its not called the itouch.)

Sorry, you can only use iphone data functions with the AT&T network.
