  1. Hold.  When the new I-Phone takes off, as it will at $199 a pop, Apple will do fine.  Yesterday (June 9) all tech stocks took a hit.  Apple's been doing well this year so hang on to it, up 50% from the low in March.

  2. I'd probably hold for now...to see what happens. I'd think it would go up. I may give it a week or two.... and see how things go...if they go up and keep going up then keep letting it go but as soon as it starts going down sell it or take a chance and sell in a month or two.....but new products generally mean more sales.

  3. I'm not sure why everyone in this forum wants to immediately sell when a stock price dips in the short term. Apple has historically done pretty well with new product launches. The fact that the old i-phone will drop in price and the new one will be cheaper just says that they are willing to forgo short term profit for market share. The new iphone is designed to compete with the 44%+ market share Blackberry has. The Apple stock price will do what it always does and bounce up steadily. It is a pretty sound investment  and all tech stocks took a hit recently due to the overall economy. The advisors I've talked to are buying the techs and the reduced price in order to maximize profit when they recover later this year.

  4. I would probably hold it.  If it broke below $175 however I would get out.  It still look pretty strong. I would not sell here.

  5. From looking at its graph over the last 6 months, I would say sell because it looks like it has plateaued. However, the new iPhone should provide a boost that will more than make up for the dip in my opinion.

  6. This is called selling into strength.  Investor's with a pessimistic outlook on AAPL are selling while the things are good.  Apple's decision to cut prices on the iPhone are indicative of reduced profits and increased competition.  Apple will have to crank out some numbers to lure investor's back.
