  1. I hope they've gotten ALL the cancer cells out of Christina & she doesn't go the same way as Jill Ireland , late wife of Charles Bronson , SHE first had one breast removed, but they didn't get all the cancer & so it spread to her OTHER  breast, but they still didn't get all the cancer & it spread to her womb & even though they took THAT out, too,  they STILL didn't get it all & she eventually died from Cancer

    poor woman

  2. I think the reconstruction is a good idea because she wants to feel like a woman. She battled with her breast cancer and she made the tough decision of getting her b*****s removed to fully ensure that the cancer would be gone which I think is a smart idea. And if she wants her b*****s again then great! She will be happy, womanly, and cancer-free and I think that is the best decision she could have made.

  3. I like her for being brave and open and appearing on camera only 3 weeks after a double mastectomy in an open-necked shirt! She has inspired countless #'s of women to the benefits of early detection all while stressing that the double mastectomy was her personal choice given her risk factors and isn't necessarily the way to go for other women in her position. Only a shallow fool would think only about how this might affect her appearance, and not how distressing and difficult this situation is and will continue to be.

  4. who cares what lengths someone goes to after having cancer to feel like a woman again. your telling me that you wouldn't want to feel like a man or woman after having something that defines what you are taken away. i say more power to her so she can feel like a woman.

  5. If I went through what she is going through I would want the full reconstruction just to continue feeling womanly.  After my aunt's masectomy she waited to get a reconstruction and felt that she wasn't a complete woman any more

  6. Part of what makes a woman feel like a woman is having b*****s. I can't imagine how I would feel if I no longer had mine. It's part of what makes you feel feminine, part of what makes you feel beautiful & desired. All I can say is more power to her. Her life and her health were at stake so she did what she thought was best in order to save herself. I can't say that I would make a different choice so I wish her all the best!!!
