Application Question...

Question

I have an application for a clothing store, and I'm not sure what to put for these two questions. Any suggestions?

1. Why are you interested in working with us?

2. What strengths could you bring to our company?

I need to make it sound as good as possible - because I really need a job. :)

You know the reasons you are interested in working for this company.. write them down.

What could you bring to them... any experience?

Here could be a response:

I like this store. I like the reputation and the merchandise. I want to be a part of this excitement. This is my look and attitude. I have worked in the clothing business for -- years... OR...  I have always been a Fashionista. I am interested in all things Fashionable. My experience is: --- OR ... I am willing to learn because of my excitement for this job. I will be honest and dependable.

1.) I'm interested in working here because of course i need money, but for the most part, i want to work here because its a job that looks fun, but challenging.

2.) I'm very charismatic (sp.) and i have always been a good salesman when the opportunities have come about.

1. Go to their web site and see what they stand for (environment, saving whales, etc.).. and say "I like what the company stands for.  I too am environmentally conscious, etc."

2. Have always been very interested in fashion and clothing, love working with people, and look forward to learning much more on the job.
