Application advice for student exchange. Forgot to get my parent to sign, sent off. Details inside.

Question

I filled out the preliminary application for an STS student exchange program, and then waited for my mum to get home to sign it. In order to keep all the pieces together, I put everything in the envelope.

I forgot all about it and posted it the next day (without the signature). I'm planning to call the program and apologise for the disorganization, but do you think this will severely effect my chances of being accepted?

No it won't. They just send it back for you to finish the rest of your application.
