Application for expired indian passport to indian embassy in chicago?

Question

I applied for the issuance of new passport in lieu of old passport about to expire within 6 months. I completed all of the application procedure but forgot to sign the money order. and, now I am worried whether they will process my application or even mail my passport to me.

Can any tell me what I should do.......

You need to go back to the office where you applied -- the Indian Embassy (or, probably better, the Consulate General) in Chicago -- and ask them your question.
